Grant Fuhr - Edmonton Oilers NHL Retired Jersey Numbers Collection
| |
While he may not have received publicity to on par with his high-scoring teammates, Grant Fuhr was nonetheless an integral part of the great Edmonton Oilers teams of the 1980s. Fuhr, who was born in Spruce Grove, Alberta (just a short distance from Edmonton), played 10 seasons with the Oilers and helped them win five Stanley Cup championships. His best year was in 1987-88 when he set NHL career-highs for wins (40) and shutouts (four) on his way to winning his only Vezina Trophy and finishing as the runner-up for the Hart Memorial Trophy. Following his tenure in Edmonton, Fuhr went on to play another nine seasons in the league. In his final year, while playing for Calgary, Fuhr became only the sixth goalie in NHL history to reach the 400-win mark. Salute this Hall of Famer with this beautifully designed and framed NHL Retired Jersey Numbers Collectible. The keepsake showcases Fuhr in action along with 6'' replica jersey numbers of the No. 31 on his uniform. This limited edition piece (250), which has an overall size of 21'' wide x 16'' high, is professionally framed and features high quality black molding. More Info
